Do you see/hear the actors when you read your books?

harry.gif harry2.gifI know this may sound silly, but for those of you who read the books before the movies came out, when you are re-reading your books now, are you putting the actors voices and images in your head while you read it?

Since i seen the movies first, whenever i read my HarryPotter books i always imagine the actors and hear their voices as im reading it. I also hear the voice of Richard Harris as Dumbledore as personally I cant stand that other Dumbledore.

  1. I do see the actors. But it doesn’t bother me, because I like the casting of the movies; they seem to fit well.

  2. Ditto what Amy said. :-)

  3. Ditto too! Not so much with the children but I do hear the actors with McGonagall, Dumbledore, Snape, and especially Hagrid.

  4. I can’t stand the new Dumbledore - Richard Harris will always be Dumbledore for me as well as King Arthur :)

  5. I hadn’t thought about it, but yes…I do see and hear the actors in my head! For the most part I have been very pleased with the people who have brought the characters to life on the big screen.
