Book 2: starting tomorrow
Are you ready to start the Chamber of Secrets tomorrow?
I’m pysched. I’ll be finishing up my “during the week book” later today. Tonight, if I can manage to make it go that long. Then I’ll be ready to start Chamber first thing Saturday morning. Woot!

Well, it’s late Saturday morning here and I’m halfway through book 2 already!
I have to say - rereading them all together is great. I’m amazed at the little bits in book 1 that link in later to the other books. JK really planned it all well
She really did plan it all out well, didn’t she.
It’s only just 8 a.m. here, and I just got up. Finished up the other book in bed last night. I’m so ready to start HP2 this morning!
I’m finished with Book 2 - I wanted it to go longer, but I had insomnia and just kept reading. I’m having a hard time not picking up book 3 now. I forgot just how much fun these are.
They are a lot of fun, aren’t they, Terby? I got quite a bit of reading down in the middle of the night, too, but I still have some to go.
We were camping all weekend and I didn’t want to risk getting my HP book ruined so I didn’t pack it. I’ll read it tomorrow.
I’ve been wondering about you, Beth. LOL
Another wonderful read. I’m amazed at how much I’m picking up this time through that I missed the last times. Probably because I’ve read the latter books and now SEE the foreshadowing and background info she built into the stories. I think she is a master in this. Most other series build on the story, but don’t have as much information woven into the books in a way that makes it seem just a minor part of the story the first read, but later turns out to be important.
I finished CoS this morning. I can’t wait to start Azkaban–it’s my favorite
With this book I can hear and see the characters from the movie quite well, more than the previous book, and it colors my reading of it. I kept thinking, but wait, Hermione said that! Or, Hagrid did that! Or… In spite of these distractions, I got a lot more out of this, this time, than the previous times I’ve read it. More of the details. It was quite fun. Can’t wait for Saturday, and the start of Prisoner of Azkaban!
