Spoilers
I would respectfully request that no spoilers be posted to this site! I have never read the books - only saw the first 4 movies and will be seeing movie 5 this week. I am about 1/3 of the way into the 5th book for this week and do not know what happens - except for the comments that people have made about Dumbledore - does he die? I DON’T WANT TO KNOW THAT YET - I WANT TO READ IT! This will be even more important when the last book comes out and some of you are able to read it faster than the rest of us!
Thanks for remembering this before you post.

I think I am going to go crawl in a hole and read book 7 when it comes out. I’m afraid of spoilers, too.
I can’t even read the darn thing until the evening of the 23rd because my wonderful son won’t be back from camp until then and we always read the new book together as a family. It’s a small price to pay for time spent with the almost 16 year old! I don’t think I will turn on the tv at all from the 21st to the 23rd…come to think of it, maybe I shouldn’t even leave the house!
I understand totally! I’ll be hiding from the news until I’ve read book 7 too
The worst spoiler I ever saw was on a board outside a restaurant about a week after book 6 came out. It gave away the main dramatic bit of book 6. I’d read it, but I was so cross for those who hadn’t. It would have been really upsetting to see it printed like that if you didn’t know.
I won’t get book 7 for about a week after it comes out, so I will be staying off the computer, and not reading the newspaper until my husband previews it for spoilers. A small price to pay for keeping the enjoyment of a good book safe.
I caught on a bit late to the whole Harry Potter mania. I read all six books last summer. When I started reading book 6, my boyfriend, not a HP reader, thinking I had read that particular part already in book 5, accidentally TOLD ME THE BLOODY ENDING OF THE BOOK! I was peeved.
I think I’m going to make him walk into the bookstore and buy the book for me.
maybe cportlas you should have posted at the start of the read-along on the site that you “Havent read all the books” - that way when people are making comments they would have known not to say certain things as YOU havent read all the books, and we wouldnt spoil things for you.
I’m sorry about this, folks. I never said that spoilers weren’t allowed. This member’s rudeness and demands are not condoned by me, the management. Steps will be taken. Sorry to bother you all.
